YARA and Kongsberg to Build Autonomous Ship

Norwegian agricultural company Yara plans to launch world’s first fully electric autonomous vessel in 2018. The ship is expected to conduct short sea operations unmanned.

The container feedership will carry 100 to 120 containers for voyages of up to approximately 30 nautical miles
